PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust force to pressurize a fabric without being limited in pressurizing force of a mobile cutter to a fixed cutter. SOLUTION: A fabric cutting device 3 for a sewing machine includes: a presser 30; a presser shaft 31; a presser pressure adjustment spring 32; a presser pressure adjustment member 33; a fixed cutter 34; the mobile cutter 35; a cutter driving arm 39; a mobile cutter shaft 36; a cutter pressure adjustment spring 37; and a cutter pressure adjustment member 38. The mobile cutter is arranged below the fixed cutter. The cutter pressure adjustment spring for urging the mobile cutter to the fixed cutter urges the mobile cutter upward.
