PURPOSE: A nozzle assembly for protective gas metal arc welding is provided to improve the stability of arc and screening effect to the atmosphere by supplying protective gas uniformly to the welded part. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle assembly for protective gas metal arc welding comprises an insulator(14) and a spiral groove(10c). The insulator is installed inside a nozzle body(10) and has a hole(14a) through which protective gas is discharged. The spiral groove is formed on the inside surface of the nozzle body so that the protective gas discharged through the hole is supplied to a welded part while whirling.
