<p>The device (1) has a microwave heating device (20) comprising a microwave generator (22) and a microwave-guide (25). A transport device transports a container, and another heating device i.e. preheating unit (4), heats the container. The preheating unit is arranged downwardly with respect to the microwave heating device in a transporting direction of the container. The unit comprises an air guiding unit (6), which loads the container with heated air flow. A heat exchanger (8) is connected with the microwave heating device.
