PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely and easily discharge air flowing into an ink passage from the ink passage. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer comprises an ink head equipped with a predetermined number of inkjet nozzles in an undersurface, a main tank as an ink supply source which stores an ink, a subtank which is formed with a material having flexibility and arranged in an intermediate portion of an ink passage which connects the main tank and the ink head, a capping means for sealing a region where inkjet nozzles of the ink head are arranged, a suction means which is connected with the capping means and sucks an ink in the ink passage via the capping means, a supply pump which is arranged between the main tank and the subtanks in the ink passage and sends out the ink to the subtank side from the main tank side, and a pressurization pump which is arranged between the subtanks and the ink heads in the ink passage and sends out the ink to the ink head side from the subtank side.
