A pneumatic tire (1) has a carcass layer (5), and carcass lines (5C) passes through the center of the carcass layer (5). Out of these carcass lines (5C), an outer carcass line (5C-1), which leads from a position (M) where the width (TW) of the tire is greatest and extends along the outer side in the radial direction of the tire (1), is along a natural equilibrium profile that is a shape achieved when tension in the carcass layer (5) is balanced when the tire (1) is inflated to a regular pressure with the tire (1) assembled to a regular rim. In a crossing region, which is a region extending from the tire equator line (CL) to a layered end (D), the normal distance (BL) of belt and the normal distance (TL) of tread keep the same values or are reduced from the tire equator line (CL) toward the outer side in the lateral direction of the tread.
|
