The invention relates to a process for the advanced recovery of 1,2-di-chloro-propane from the exhaust gases resulting from propene oxide preparation, that is also applicable to the advanced removal of other chlorinated products from purged flows resulting from petrochemical processes. According to the invention, the process consists in that, during a first stage, the absorption of 1,2-di-chloro-propane from the exhaust gases in 2-ethyl-hexanol is achieved at a temperature of 40...50A C and a pressure of 1.5...7 bar, followed by the fractionation of the resulting mixture in a distillation column where a top fraction consisting of the mixture of 1,2-di-chloro-propane and inert gases is separated, said mixture being further condensed and cooled down to a temperature of 40A C and a pressure of 1.1...1.6 bar and passed into a reflux vessel wherefrom one part of the resulting 1,2-di-chloro-propane condensation product is sent to the top of the distillation column, while the other part is delivered as a final product, the uncondensed gaseous flow in the reflux vessel passing into an 1,2-di-chloro-propane adsorption system on active carbon, wherefrom, after the steam desorption of 1,2-di-chloro-propane, it is condensed and separated from water.
|
