PURPOSE: A device for attaching and detaching a water pail of a steam cleaner is provided to offer convenience and easy operation property with small pushing force by converting pushing force to turning force through a cam part. CONSTITUTION: A device for attaching and detaching a water pail of a steam cleaner includes a pushing part, a locking part, an elastic part, and a cam part. The pushing part is arranged on the housing. The locking part is applied to a locking groove formed on the water pail. The elastic member(250) gives elastic force toward locking groove. The cam part gives the power to the locking part to being separated from the locking groove by pushing power of the pushing part.
