PURPOSE: An ISA/PCI data interface apparatus is provided to facilitate a control device by allowing data used in a PCI slot to be converted into 8BIT data for an ISA slot. CONSTITUTION: An ISA/PCI data interface apparatus comprises a PC, a slot box, an interface module(10), a first fixing unit for fixing guide, a second fixing unit for fixing guide, and an elastic locking unit. The PC has a PCI slot. The slot box has an ISA slot. The interface module includes a circuit board(11), a parallel port(12), a data port(13), an input output controller(14), a data buffer(15A), an address buffer(15B), and a PLC(16). The parallel port connects to a printer port of the PC through a parallel cable. The data port connects to a slot box through a data cable. The input output controller is equipped on the circuit board between the ISA slot and the parallel port of the slot box for the switching of input/output data. The data buffer and the address buffer data buffer the data and address between the input output controller and the ISA slot. The PLC controls the input output controller, the data buffer and the address buffer. The first fixing unit for fixing guide makes the parallel port soldered in the circuit board. The second fixing unit for fixing guide makes the data port soldered in the circuit board. The elastic locking unit fastens the data port and the data cable.
