PURPOSE: A surface emitting device with a divided region is provided to reduce power consumption by implementing independence of a gas circulation structure and a dimming drive at an independent division flat lamp. CONSTITUTION: A surface emitting lamp is comprised of at least one divided flat lamp. The divided flat lamp includes a lamp body and an electrode(70a,70b). The lamp body generates the light in a discharge space. The electrode applies the discharge voltage to the lamp body. The electrode is comprised of a first electrode unit and a second electrode unit formed in both ends of the divided flat lamp.
