The device is for cleaning of heat exchangers or air purifiers in waste air/gas channels (2). It uses movably positioned spray nozzles (28). The device is constructed in the modular system, as a single unit, and consists of similar parts for right- or left operation. The spray nozzles are moved by a drive (36, 50, 51). They are accommodated on an upright washing column (6), which has vertically movable nozzle carriers (16). The column is located on a carriage (10, 11), which is moved by a driven threaded spindle (36). The column can be moved in three directions, and is turnable. ADVANTAGE - Simple, safe, easy to clean, easy to adapt to varying conditions.
