PURPOSE: A session management apparatus and a method thereof for preventing the loss of payment information are provided to delay the termination of the account data collection session in case that payment information is received by the event. CONSTITUTION: A session management apparatus(300) includes a communication unit(310), a message check part(320), and the session management(340). The communication unit receives the charge information message broadcasting with the session comprised between the charging information generation node. The message check unit confirms the kind of the charge information message. According to the confirmation result, the session management delays the termination of a session.
