A first embodiment relates to a kit of parts for making a piece of furniture. The kit comprises a plurality of interchangeable or rearrangeable sections or modules 6, 4 one of said sections being adapted to be a load bearing surface of said furniture. The sections may be reconfigured to form a plurality of furniture configurations such as a toddler bed and table, a settee and table, a bed or a cot (208, figure 19a). One of said sections may comprise a slatted assembly 97 which may be interlocked with a second slatted assembly 92. A second embodiment relates to a piece of furniture having a flexible wall (26, figure 1) adapted to be located in a channel (36, figure 3) and movable in said channel. A cot comprising a plurality of interchangeable sections is also disclosed. |
