PURPOSE: A heating system and a control method thereof are provided to supply different power to spaces of different purposes and to control valve units installed in the spaces individually. CONSTITUTION: A heating system comprises automatic valve units(100a,100b), a valve regulator(200), and a main controller. The automatic valve units are installed in a boiler heating distributor. The valve regulator controls opening/closing of the automatic valve units in order to individually adjust the flow rate of heating water in heating pipes supplied to each heating space. The main controller sets up the opening/closing time of each automatic valve unit by the user and transmits the set time data to the valve regulator through wireless communication. The valve regulator receives the set time data, controls the automatic valve units individually differently according to the set time data, and controls the supply of the heating water in the heating pipe to each heating space.
