PURPOSE: A contact pitch adjustment jig and a method for adjusting and assembling the contact pitch are provided to adjust the pitch of the contact to the pitch of the contact member mounting unit of a socket when the pitch between contact members of the contact is different from the holes of the contact member mounting unit of the socket. CONSTITUTION: A contact pitch adjustment jig(20) includes a pitch adjusting unit(21), a base block(30), and a coupling pin(40). A pitch adjusting unit includes a first pitch adjustment plate(22), a second pitch adjustment plate, and a guide unit(24). A plurality of grooves are formed in one side of the first pitch adjustment plate. A coupling hole is formed in at least two places of the first pitch adjustment plate. A plurality of corresponding grooves are formed in one side of the second pitch adjustment plate with the predetermined interval. The corresponding coupling holes are formed in at least two places of the two pitch adjustment plate. The guide unit guides each contact member of the additional contact different from the pitch of the groove of the first and second pitch adjustment plates to the grooves of the first and second pitch adjustment plate. The guide unit is formed in at least one of two pitch adjustment plates. An concave part(31) is formed in one side of the base block to detach or attach the pitch adjustment unit. The pitch adjustment unit and the base block are integrated through the coupling holes of the pitch adjustment unit and the base block.
