Disclosed is a crystalline polymorph form IV of N-[(R)-2,3-Dihydroxy-propoxy]-3,4-difluoro-2-(2-fluoro-4-iodo-phenylamino)-benzamide that exhibits an X-ray powder diffraction pattern having characteristic peaks expressed in degrees 2theta at 4.6, 7.2, 14.6, 19.1, 19.9, 20.7, 22.0, 22.2, 23.2, 23.6, 23.9, 25.0, 26.5, 28.1, 28.3, 30.0, 30.4, 32.7, 33.0, 34.1, 36.6, 40.1, 42.1, 43.4 and 44.6. This crystalline form IV may be suitable for treating a proliferative disease, cancer, restenosis, psoriasis, autoimmune disease, atherosclerosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, heart failure, chronic pain and neuropathic pain.
