PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial gap type motor/generator increased in power generation capacity while suppressing an increase in the axial length of a rotary shaft. SOLUTION: A pair of power generating rotors 31, 33 is integrally rotated with a rotary shaft 9. A stator 32 is disposed on the rotary shaft 9 between the power generating rotors 31, 33, and is separated from the power generating rotors 31, 33 in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 9.
