PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain coater which can produce a coated product of excellent quality by preventing generation of a heel, which is a liquid pool toward the upstream direction developing on a dynamic contact line at a point where a curtain film collides with a web, to stabilize the curtain film. SOLUTION: In a curtain coater applying a coating liquid supplied from a liquid supply tank to a curtain head by a pump to a continuously traveling web, an air jet injector located on the upstream side of a collision point of the curtain film with the web and injecting air supplied from a blower toward the downstream side is installed, and injects an air jet toward the dynamic contact line at which the curtain film collides with the web.
