INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION TERMINAL, AND PROGRAM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system for remotely deleting data stored in an information terminal as long as an original owner having an access right to the terminal notices loss or theft even when the terminal is lost or stolen.

SOLUTION: After power is applied and before start-up of an OS, the terminal refers to a server whether a theft-loss flag is raised, and if the flag is raised, deletes the data in the terminal. This deletion is performed in a background at the start-up of a dummy OS.
