<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapidly dispersing dosage form, known as a "flash dose". <P>SOLUTION: The dosage forms release their active ingredients in a term less than about 90 sec. The dosage forms exhibit a three-dimensional shape that is retained for an adequate storage term but is readily dispersed in the presence of excess moisture. The dosage forms contain a massive substance and a binder, preferably, which massive substance is selected from spray-dried lactose, fructose, sucrose, dextrose, sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol and microcrystalline cellulose and which binder is preferably selected from the group consisting of arabinogalactan, polyvinylpyrrolidone, sorbitol, mannitol and xylitol.
