PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection terminal capable of securely connecting and fixing an electric wire while preventing deformation of a terminal itself. SOLUTION: The connection terminal is bent to be folded in the middle, and has screw insertion openings 11 formed on both pieces of the double-folded connection terminal, an electric wire insertion hole 14 formed on a bent part 10, sandwiching parts 16 for sandwiching the electric wire 15 between screw receiving parts 12 with the screw insertion openings 11 formed thereon and the bent part 10 as a supporting point, and an exposure opening 21 for exposing a tip end part 15a of the electric wire 15 sandwiched between the sandwiching parts 16 and the screw insertion openings 11. Thereby, the tip end part 15a, which is nearest to the screw 13, of the electric wire 15 inserted in the electric wire insertion hole 14 is exposed from the exposure opening 21 and is escaped from between the screw receiving parts 12 and sandwiching parts 16 to prevent deformation of the terminal itself.
