PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate between no work of a pump due to the absence of a liquid and no flow of liquid due to a failure of the pump, since it is necessary to operate the pump even if there is no liquid in a buffer tank in discharging the liquid in the buffer tank. SOLUTION: The liquid detector has a reed switch 9 attached outside a container 1, which is installed at an arbitrary position to select a level detected.
