PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor performing halftone processing, which suppresses a periodic pattern by changing a correction amount periodically while suppressing dispersion in an area for each dot at a low calculation cost. SOLUTION: The representative point of a dot pattern table on a dither space closest to the address coordinates of a pixel under consideration on the dither space is obtained. The pixel coordinates of an integer on a pixel space closest to the representative point are obtained, and a shift amount between the address coordinates on the dither space corresponding to the pixel coordinates of the integer on the pixel space and the representative point on the dither space is calculated. The calculated shift amount is added to the address coordinates of the pixel under consideration on the dither space and correction is performed. A dither threshold indicated by the dot pattern table on the dither space corresponding to the coordinates obtained by rounding the address coordinates of the pixel under consideration on the dither space obtained by the addition and the pixel value of the pixel under consideration on the pixel space are compared.
