PURPOSE: A method of processing data in an IPTV receiver and the IPTV receiver are provided to specifically define a data protocol for quickly processing various contents in an IPTV broadcasting environment in which an IMS is introduced. CONSTITUTION: A method of processing data in an IPTV(Internet Protocol TeleVision) receiver comprises the following steps. A resolution request signal of a CRID(Content Reference IDentifier) corresponding to a content is transmitted(S102). Location information including an SIP-URI(Session Initiation Protocol-Uniform Resource Identifier) corresponding to the CRID and SDP-URL(Session Description Protocol-Uniform Resource Locator) is received(S103). An SDP file corresponding to the SDP-URL is requested to a server by using the received SDP-URL(S104). The SDP file is received from the server(S105). |
