PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rocker section structure and structure that prevents or inhibits deformation of cross section even if a load acts in a direction in which flexible angle is caused to become enlarged. SOLUTION: A rocker inner panel 40 has an upper wall 42 and a sidewall 44 with plain holes 48, 50 being bored to be formed respectively therethrough, at the same time, a coupling rod 52 is allocated at a position wherein its middle part 52A links between the plain holes 48 and 50 in a linear state, while both the end parts 52B, 52C penetrate the plain holes 48, 50 so as to be bent in the direction of the surfaces of the periphery of the plain holes 48, 50, thereby being fixed to the rocker inner panel 40 side. Thus, even if a load acts in the direction of causing the flexible angle of the rocker inner panel 40 to be enlarged, the deformation of the cross section of the rocker inner panel 40 is prevented or suppressed.
