PURPOSE: A valve device of a shock absorber is provided to easily control a damping force property at a low speed and to gradually increase a damping force at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: A valve device(60) of a shock absorber(50) is installed in a piston rod(54) of the shock absorber. A damping force is generated by controlling a fluid flow between a rebound chamber and a compression chamber. The valve device of a shock absorber includes a piston valve, a sliding valve, and a valve disc. The sliding valve is movably installed to the piston rod in a bottom side of the piston valve. The valve disc is positioned in a bottom part of the sliding valve, and elastically supports an outer part of the sliding valve.
