<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device can positively disengage between a motor driving circuit and a steering assist motor at the time of irregular state at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A steering control device 40 of this has a motor driving circuit 43 for use in performing a driving operation by electrically energizing motor driving currents Iu, Iv and Iw against a motor 19 of an electric power steering device 11.
