PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of analyzing the photographing condition or the like of a deleted image, when a user judges a certain specific photographed image as a failure image and deletes the image, so as to effectively utilize the analyzed photographing condition or the like for subsequent photographing. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging means; a photographing setting change means; a storage means for storing photographing setting in a photographed image; an image display means for displaying the photographed image or photographing setting information; an image select switch for selecting any arbitrary image from among displayed photographed images; a delete button for deleting the selected image; and a failure frequency measuring means for measuring a failure frequency from images to be deleted. Photographing setting is changed by the photographing setting change means, a photographed image is displayed by the image display means, and an image is selected by the image select switch. In timing to delete the image using the delete button, regarding a predetermined setting item in the photographing setting stored in the image to be deleted, a setting value is extracted by the failure frequency setting means, and setting a number of times are added.
