PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Fe aluminum alloy plate excellent in square-shell deep-drawability, and a production method thereof. SOLUTION: The Al-Fe aluminum alloy is subjected to rolling, wherein work hardening index n values (calculated at two points of 10% and 20% nominal strains) in the 0°, 45° and 90° directions respective to the rolling direction are all within the range of 0.20-0.28 and total elongation in the 0°, 45° and 90° directions are all ≥40%.
