PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus can discharge a recording material with a good loadability condition regardless of the shape of the curl of the recording material to be discharged. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is characterized in that it has a paper discharge conveying roller 40 for discharging the recording material 1 and a paper discharge roller 41, a controller part 301 which advises the printing face information whether a print processing for performing about the recording material 1 is on one sided printing or both sides printing to a paper discharge device control part 303, and the paper discharge device control part 303 for controlling a discharge speed of the paper discharge roller 40 and the discharge roller 41 based on the printing face information advised by the controller part 301.
