PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for preventing electric wave interference between a radio wave transmitted by a measuring buoy and a radio wave transmitted by another wireless equipment. SOLUTION: This measurement system has: the buoy having a measurement instrument, and transmitting measurement information showing a measurement value of the measurement instrument by a radio wave whose orientation of horizontal directivity is controlled based on a transmission direction to which the radio wave is to be transmitted; and a receiver receiving the radio wave transmitted from the buoy to acquire the measurement information.
