<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor where excellent image formation is stably performed by excellently maintaining stability in conduction by contact of a conductive contact member with a conductive shaft rotatably supporting a cylindrical conductive drum base substance where a photoreceptor layer is formed on its outer circumference. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a photoreceptor drum, a shaft, and a contact part. The photoreceptor drum includes a drum base substance composed of a conductive cylindrical member. The shaft includes a shaft body like a round bar made of metal and a metal coating film formed on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft body. The contact part is set to elastically come into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the shaft. The metal coating film is made of material having lower ionization tendency than the principal component of the shaft body, and lower ionization tendency than material constituting a surface opposed to the shaft at the contact part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
