<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium battery with a high capacity and superior productivity while using a solid sulfide electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium battery 1 includes a positive electrode layer 13, a negative electrode layer 14, and a solid sulfide electrolyte layer (SE layer 15) interposed between these both layers 13, 14. The lithium battery uses lithium nickelate as a positive electrode active material to constitute the positive electrode layer 13, so that the inclination of lithium ions in the vicinity of interface of the positive electrode layer 13 and the SE layer 15 is alleviated and formation of a depletion layer in the SE layer 15 is controlled. Preferably, the positive electrode layer 13 further contains at least one kind or more of aluminum of 0.5 mass% to 5 mass% and cobalt of 5 mass% to 20 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
