PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device resolving shortage of a reflection attenuation part due to close contact of a photographing optical axis with an illumination optical axis in photographing with light from a camera-built lighting system (auxiliary lighting system) housed in a spherical case. SOLUTION: The imaging device includes a security camera body 101, the auxiliary lighting system 505 housed in the security camera 101 and a photographing optical system 501. An irradiation opening 106 irradiated with auxiliary light from the auxiliary lighting system 505 is formed in a front face of the security camera body 101. The device also includes an adapter 901 mounted on the front face of the security camera body 101 with a fixed gap relative to an inner surface part 1101a of an arc-shaped dome 1101 disposed in front of the security camera body 101. The adapter 901 has a photographing opening 901a disposed on the front face of the photographing optical system 501, and an irradiation opening 901b defining a light guide path 901e so as to guide the auxiliary light emitted through the irradiation opening 106 outward obliquely relative to the photographing optical axis of the photographing optical system 501.
