PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and the like for deriving a spectral reflection factor, of a reproduction output object, matching a reproduction target spectral reflection factor. SOLUTION: A spectral reflection factor deriving apparatus comprises: a first decomposition processing means for decomposing a reproduction target first spectral reflection factor (R1) into a first Fs1 and a first Mb1 according to a spectral reflection factor decomposition technique; a first spectral reflection factor calculating means for calculating a second spectral reflection factor (R2), of which the error from the reproduction target first spectral reflection factor (R1) becomes minimum, while using a spectral reflection factor estimation model, from spectral reflection factors reproducible on a reproduction output object; a second decomposition processing means for decomposing the second spectral reflection factor (R2) into a second Fs2 and a second Mb2; a spectral reflection factor deriving means for deriving a reproduction target third spectral reflection factor (R3) by adding the first Fs1 and the second Mb2; and a second spectral reflection factor calculating means for calculating a fourth spectral reflection factor (R4) of which the error from the reproduction target third spectral reflection factor (R3) becomes minimum, from the spectral reflection factors reproducible on the reproduction output object, while using the spectral reflection factor estimation model.
