PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna which can make compatibly downsizing of the antenna and high radiation resistance and can increase a radiation electric field intensity. SOLUTION: A dipole antenna 10 arranges elements 12 and 14 whose length isλ/4 symmetrically with respect to a feeding portion 16 so as to beλ/2 in total size. Meanwhile, an antenna 100 of the present makes the length of elements 102 and 104 less thanλ/4, and loads inductors 112 and 114 on the side of the feeding portion 16 of the elements 102 and 104. Thus, the elements 102 and 104 whose length is shortened to less thanλ/4 operate as elements whose length seems to beλ/4 and function in the same way as the dipole antenna 10.
