PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-permeable pavement capable of making a contribution to a city water environment and of suppressing a heat island phenomenon by preventing heat from being dissipated from a pavement surface since water content such as rainwater can be retained in the entire part of a paved body even in a summer season in which days with low precipitation are continued. SOLUTION: In this pavement surface water supply system 1 comprising a paved road and a water supply means for supplying water to the paved road, the paved road comprises a paved body 2 and a road bed 4 under the paved body. The paved body 2 comprises a nonwoven cloth layer 26 with a weight of 100-3,000 g/m<SP>2</SP>formed between a concrete paved layer 21 having water-permeability and water-discharge property and a water-permeable layer 27. The water supply means 3 comprises a water supply source 35, a water supply passage 38 for supplying the water content from the water supply source 35 into the paved body 2, a water content amount detector 32 installed at the lower part of the paved body 2, and a water supply control device 31. The water supply control device 31 supplies water into the paved body 2 through the water supply passage according to at least a signal on the moisture content in the paved body 2 detected by the moisture content detector 32.
