The area (10) has a circular cross section for supporting in a bearing i.e. antifriction bearing (5). A fastening device is provided for fastening of a foreign material component (14) at an unbalanced shaft (1), where the unbalanced shaft has a material recess (11) in the bearing area. The material recess is filled outer-extensively with smaller, specific weight of the foreign material component. The foreign material component is made of plastic with added filling material such as reinforced polyamide, stanyl or sinter metal.
