The arrangement has a camera (1) arranged in a housing (11), where the camera is movable through pipe lines. The camera is connected with a receiver device by a copper line (4) e.g. coaxial cable, for recording an image. The receiver device is provided remote from the pipe line to be inspected, and displays the image on a monitor (10). The housing has a video processor (2), which reads, processes and compresses the image data recorded by the camera. The processor transfers the data to the receiver device in digital form over the copper line.
