PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically set the upper limit value of the number of commands to be issued by servers according to a system environment in a storage device connected to the servers. SOLUTION: A storage device 12 includes: a detection section 20 for detecting the number of servers 13 connected to the storage device 12; a determination section 21 for determining the change of the set upper limit value set in the servers 13 on the basis of the number of the servers 13 detected by the detection section 20; and a notification section 22 for notifying the servers 13 of the change of the set upper limit value determined by the determination section 21. The servers 13 include: a change notification receiving section 27 for receiving the change notification from the notification section 22; and a change section 28 for changing the set upper limit value set in the servers 13 on the basis of the change notification received by the change notification receiving section 27.
