The tool has a cylindrical body (10) on which a blade and a guiding skid (3) are mounted. The blade includes a sharpened edge projecting with respect to a surface (11) of the body. The skid includes a body (30) i.e. surface coating, whose contact surface (32) projects with respect to the surface of the body (10). The contact surface is made of material resistant to abrasive wear, where the surface guides the body (10) with respect to a surface of a piece to be machined. The skid includes a damping support (31) made of material for damping vibrations and fixing the skid on the body of the tool.
