<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a broadcast program matched to characteristics of a user with sufficient precision on the basis of viewing history of a television receiver connected via a network. <P>SOLUTION: A program selection device includes: a program information storage part 15 which stores program information; a video/audio signal recording part 13 which records video/audio signals; a recording reservation information storage part 14 which stores recording reservation information; a device information storage part 20 which stores a network address; a program taste information storage part 16 which stores program taste information; a program taste information generation means 17a for generating program taste degrees for each of television receiver 2, 3 on the basis of the viewing history received from the television receivers 2, 3, a recording reservation information generation means 17b for generating the recording reservation information for performing recording reservation of a broadcast program with the highest program taste degree; a recording reservation control means 17b for recording the program on the basis of the recording reservation information; and a program selection means 12b for extracting program information with high program taste degree when transmission of a list of the video/audio signals is requested. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
