PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus enabling estimation of an object with high accuracy from an image of a single-lens camera by simple setting. SOLUTION: Regarding a rectangular area (tracking start (new) object and tracking object) extracted by a change area extraction processing part 151, an object position-size estimation processing part 153 performs estimation of the position and the size of the object and various object processings annexed thereto, by using reference tables (real distance Y table, real distance X table and real distance Z table) calculated by an object model table calculating part 154.
