PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable power generator, capable of providing power generation, without using an internal combustion engine and which will not cause problems with respect to noise or to exhaust gas. SOLUTION: Heat medium is heated by an additionally heating device 1, heat of the heating medium is recovered, the heated heating medium is sent from a medium circulation passage 6 to an expansion means 9, where rotational force of a rotational scroll based on expansion of the medium is transmitted to a rotational shaft; and a rotary shaft is rotated by rotation of the rotary shaft, to cause power generation at the power generator 10. Power generation is thus provided without having to use an internal combustion engine, while eliminating the problems related to noise or exhaust gas. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
