PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device with high flexibility and enabling easy adjustment, to provide a braking device realizing desired braking response following rotation of a lever and capable of obtaining sufficiently high brake feeling, and to provide a braking device allowing easy braking and reducing effort of a user side. SOLUTION: The braking device for vehicles comprises a body (12), a lever (13) hinged to the body and operated by a user of the vehicle, a hydraulic cylinder (17) having a cylindrical chamber (24) integral with the body (12) for connecting with a hydraulic braking circuit of the vehicle, the cylinder (17) comprising a piston sliding in the chamber (24) and moving as a result of the action of the lever (13) to control vehicle braking.
