PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double layer capacitor electrode sheet that achieves high energy density and low internal resistance by reducing resistance in an electrode sheet for an electric double layer capacitor, and is produced efficiently. SOLUTION: The electric double layer capacitor is obtained by winding or laminating electrode sheets while holding a separator between the electrode sheets. The electric double layer capacitor is manufactured efficiently by the electrode where an electrode layer is formed on both the surfaces of a collector made of a metal fiber sheet. Further, by allowing the electrode layer to be in contact with the separator and the porous metal fiber sheet, resistance is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
