摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stem and leaf parts of Polymnia sonchifolia having more improved antioxidant activity (polyphenol content), and an extract thereof having extremely improved bitterness when drunk as tea, and to provide a method for producing them. <P>SOLUTION: The stem and leaf parts of the Polymnia sonchifolia having been subjected to lactic fermentation is achieved by subjecting the stem and leaf parts of the Polymnia sonchifolia to lactic fermentation, and are produced by parching the stem and leaf parts of the Polymnia sonchifolia, pulverizing the parched product, fermenting the pulverized product by adding a lactic acid bacteria solution thereto and drying the fermented product.
