PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic signature system in which a means for generating electronic signature data can be easily updated and in which a secret key is not easily leaked out. SOLUTION: The system 1 includes a terminal device 10 and an electronic signature server device 30. The terminal device 10 transmits the secret key (data transmitting part 48 for electronic signature). The electronic signature server device 30 receives the secret key (data receiving part 71 for electronic signature). The electronic signature server device 30 generates electronic signature data on the basis of the received secret key and the electronic signature data to be given (electronic signature data generating part 74). The electronic signature server device 30 eliminates the received secret key after generating electronic signature data (data eliminating part 76 for electronic signature).
