PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum switch low in electric resistance and thermal resistance in a contact part between a fixed electrode rod and a movable-side terminal fitting, and large in continuous current-carrying capacity without requiring reinforcement of an operation mechanism. SOLUTION: This vacuum switch is provided with: a vacuum bulb 1 held in the inside of an insulation frame 2; the fixed electrode rod 10 arranged at one end of the vacuum bulb 1; a moving electrode rod 11 arranged at the other end of the vacuum bulb 1; a flexible conductor 12 electrically connecting the moving electrode rod 11 to main circuit conductors 20a and 20b; and the movable-side terminal fittings 9a and 9b fastened to the outer peripheral surface of the moving electrode rod 11.
