<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which suitably blocks power supply to a nonvolatile memory in an electric power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus stores data of nonvolatile memory which may be used in the electric power saving mode, in a volatile memory to which electric power supply is carried out even in the electric power saving mode.
