<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cleaning a fingerprint authentication machine which is capable of quickly, surely, and safely cleaning a scan glass surface with which a finger to be authenticated comes into contact. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus for cleaning a fingerprint authentication machine includes a fingerprint authentication machine having the scan surface with which the finger to be authenticated comes into contact, a shutter installed facing the scan surface, covering the scan surface in a closed state, and opening/closing to expose the scan surface in an open state, a cleaner performing the cleaning, and a drive portion bringing the cleaner in contact with the scan surface to clean the scan surface, when closing the shutter, and closing the shutter, when finishing the cleaning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
